– FORWARD BENDS –

To bend forward means to flex the spine, which happens every time you move your chest toward your thighs (and visa versa).

– TWISTS –

Twisting postures help realign the relationship between the shoulder girdle and the spine, and between the pelvis and the spine.

– AXIAL EXTENSION POSES –

The most important aspect of all axial extension postures is to bring the spine into maximum vertical alignment while integrating all the spinal curves without strain.

– BACKBENDS –

Different back bends give us an opportunity to stretch different parts of the Superficial Front Line, but whatever pose we do, we need to focus on the upward life through the front of the body.

– SIDE BENDS –

Lateral bending helps to create more balance between the right and left sides of the body by working with each side individually.

– BALANCES –

The balancing poses have a great value in teaching your body how to maintain stability on an unstable base.
